Hello and Welcome………I’m Joanne Male, a registered Civil Marriage Celebrant for couples who value personality, originality, meaning and creativity when it comes to your wedding ceremony. I specialise in crafting and performing a couple’s wedding ceremony with each individual in mind.

As a Civil Marriage Celebrant my goal is to create a wedding ceremony that is significant to you, a meaningful occasion that truly reflects who you are. After all it’s all about what you want, what suits your personality, what represents your beliefs and values — whether you have an intimate wedding ceremony with just the two of you, or a wedding ceremony surrounded by your friends and loved ones , formal or informal; traditional, alternative or multicultural; religious, secular, interfaith, or spiritual. We work together to make it happen. I customise all of my wedding ceremonies and take the time to listen to my couples’ ideas and requests….. And there are no surprises. You get to sign off on every single word.

Marriage is a celebration of love. It is the bonding thread that brings two people even closer, I believe you should have total confidence in the wedding services of all those you entrust to help make your special day “come to life”. Whether it be just the two of you, or shared with those you love, I can promise as your chosen marriage celebrant I will deliver a wedding ceremony that symbolises and captures the essence of your loving commitment.

My Journey

Since leaving Melbourne in 1995, I have been blessed to live in one of Australia’s most beautiful locations; Cairns’ northern beaches in Tropical Far North Queensland.

I love the relaxed freedom of my home and the many opportunities it provides my career as a registered Civil Marriage celebrant, one of my greatest joys is being able to share this lush tropical paradise, and the diversity of what this region can offer couples from all over the world….so welcome, and I look forward to meeting you in person.

Before discovering my inspiring lifework as a Civil Marriage celebrant, I enjoyed a career in office administration. Aside from all this, I cite having children as my greatest ever achievement. I am the mother of two magnificent boys.

It completely changed my life. I am certain also that my stepdad, Kevin, would have loved knowing he was instrumental in it all.
